About Jim

Jim Pergolizzi is a native of Manlius, New York. Jim began his legal career in the Syracuse headquarters of Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC. After moving to Bond’s Rochester office, he focused on commercial real estate, land use and construction law. Jim later moved to Burlington, Vermont, where he expanded his practice at Paul Frank + Collins PC to include corporate, municipal and litigation matters. He then returned to Rochester and Bond, Schoeneck & King and continued working on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale, finance, construction and leasing. Jim opened the law firm Pergolizzi Law PLLC in 2019 to provide high-quality legal services tailored to the specific needs of small businesses, developers, lenders, not-for-profits and individuals in the greater Rochester area. He is licensed to practice law in the States of New York and Vermont (inactive). Jim lives in Pittsford with his wife and two young children. In his free time, Jim plays upright and electric bass. He has played in classical orchestras, jazz ensembles, punk bands and bluegrass groups, and he currently plays in the band Genesee Rising. Jim also enjoys running long distances through the woods. You can often find him at Mendon Ponds park training for his next ultramarathon.
